v1.3 Commander UAV FOV

Was playing Burning Sands today and had a weird bug where my view was closer to the ground to further down I looked.

This makes it very hard to orientate where you are looking at times and is very annoying.

Can this be related to the changing of the UAV's height according to the VD?

v1.3 Hades Peak waterfall bug

Not really a major bug but I thought i should report it.
When you approach the waterfall at D10 KP3 on Hades Peak, if you approach it from the right place or you get near the front of it you start swimming in the air. You can swim in the air for about 2-3 meters away from the waterfall before falling back down. If you apporoach from the bottom of the waterfall then you fly upwards to the top of the waterfall.

Hello PR,
I recently updated to 1.3.1 and whenever I launch local co-op Ramiel INF, PR crashed or shuts itself down.

I have launched my co-op right after I updated PR.
No clue why or how.

v1.3 DOD active on Vadso City LRG

BUG/situation:
Flying CAS in DOD, DOD timer counting down as usaul, took damage from DOD (north of the map), bleeding out and died.

DOD is active on Vadso City, shouldnt be the case right?

Steps to reproduce:
Map: Vadso City LRG

Go to DOD (in my case happened North of the map) and die :-).

Server: [NEW] New Era Warfare #1 DE/EN

its does not make any sense why Bradley have this, we all know in real life they cant fire tows on movement but what can you fire on movement in PR any way? we don't have FCS so its not necessary, the old engine already do this.

also this was discussed on this old tread and was promised that will be fixed.

It was fine till yesterday, and played the game without any problem but suddenly, game keep crash when loading reach 62%.

I did everything like restart my system, make new profile, clear the cashes, uninstall PR, clear all registry, reinstall PR, reinstall DX9c etc.

And you know what? BOOM it still crash. Somebody Anybody Please Help Me!

v1.3 Error 39? Please Help!!

Okay, so im really hyped up to start up project reality for the first time. I've installed the game, and made an account, but when it starts up, it shows the main menu then an error message saying "39:Key error" When i press "ok" or the x button, it kicks me out to the desktop. This is really frustrating. Please help. Here's the log:

v1.3 Nuijamaa FPS Drops

Similar to Fallujah's FPS drops, but when piloting a chopper on the map causes some pretty bad FPS drops when you head towards the Villa, I assume for both factions as it did for French. It's to a point where it's really difficult to fly and drop supplies to anyone near the Villa as you get about 10FPS while flying over it. Not sure about down on the ground as infantry or APC but I've heard it's bad, too.

Unable to hear friendlies, doesn't even show them transmitting

I'm able to transmit and people hear me fine, but when they talk it doesn't show them transmitting for me nor do I hear anyone whatsoever.
I have tried exiting mumble, still didn't fix it.
Help would be much appreciated.

When I go to change to an alternate scope for any kit it stays on the original scope. So I can't use the alternate scopes at all. :(

Black Gold version where you're China engaging Russia on coop keeps crashing, yet when I play the alternate version China vs. Militia it works just fine. I had this same problem with Dovre on v1.2. :confused:

SPG-9 shouldn't be able to destroy caches

So i was playing on Kokan with my squad and operating the SPG.
I saw 1 US Inf moving in onto the cache and thought it would be a great idea to throw a Frag round at him.
I fired, hit the wall, the dude flew away and for some reason the cache decided to blow up.

He was outside the building, i hit the outside wall and the cache inside blows up..?
You need up to 7-8 direct RPG-7 hits to blow the cache up but the detonation from 1 single SPG-9 Frag round 15m away from the cache is enough to take it out?
I belive this didn't use to be the case before 1.0 so someone tweaked the SPG-9.

So my question
1. Why?
2. Can you please defuse the SPG?

I almost got banned because of this bs and i don't wanna know how many newbies got banned because they accidently took out a cache.

I've been flying choppers a lot lately and I've noticed that it'll occasionally say that I'm damaging a player that I've dropped off not 5 minutes earlier. This only happens when they are harmed when they bail out (due to jumping while I'm mid-landing, or hovering too high) and I believe are harmed by any other way. I've had times where I've even said to have been TK'd even though I dropped the guy off earlier and am alive and well in base. I've also experienced that it says I teamkilled a player that hurt themselves when they bailed too soon to run off and die somehow.

I'm not sure 100% whether these people are bleeding out, taking fall damage elsewhere, or actually getting shot by enemies after they've been harmed by bailing out too soon.

So the other day I realized that my ranges(for mortars) in the capslock map were not showing up, I know this is related to tr.exe, but I was wondering how do I run it?

Hamachi Co-op connection problem

Sooo, first post in I think over a year. A friend of mine got me back into PR after 1.3 came out and so far so good. We don't trust ourselves to play in the main servers just yet and we wanted to get a hang of the game in co-op mode.

However I am having some problems trying to establish a "LAN" connection through Hamachi.

Now, we both have the latest version of Hamachi and each one have set up their own server just to try to see who was better at hosting a game. We're both connected to the same server. Either his or mine depending on who hosts the game.

When he is hosting his co-op game, I use his IP adress to connect directly and it initially works. I get whatever map he is playing loading but right after the game finishes loading the map, it crashes to desktop with the typical "Unloading resources" window we get after exiting PR:BF2.

When it's me hosting the match, he uses my IP adress to connect directly to it but no dice, he doesn't seem to be able to connect at all. No map found or loading.

This also happens on non co-op maps that he or I set up through the Deployment tab > Local > Create local.

I tried turning off the firewall in case that was preventing a connection to be established but that did not help.


I've read somewhere else in the forums that using offline accounts and try find the server trough the ingame LAN server list would do the trick but no server was found at all.

My friend and I have for now moved on to playing the internet co-op servers and that has worked just fine. We know it's not the maps since we have tried different ones and none have worked yet they work just fine in the internet servers.

I'm really out of ideas about setting a co-op game using Hamachi, is there something I may have overlooked? Could it be an issue of computer performance? Just in case I'll add my PC specs.

In the meanwhile we will just play in the internet servers. That has so far been great fun. But the goal of setting a Hamachi supported LAN game is still up because we want to goof around in some maps that don't get played much in the online servers.

I will greatly appreciate any tips or ideas on how I can fix this problem. :)

Getting in mumble channels while playing local.

I'm not sure if this is a recent problem or it has always been this way, but I thought I'd post it anyway

Description:
You can get in a mumble channel of a specific server by joining said server, abort on loading and creating a local game. The mumble server will act and grant you permission as if you were playing in that server. Meaning if you'd create a squad in a local game, you would be able to hear and speak to the squad of similar number on the server.

Steps to Reproduce:
Join a server, cancel on the loading screen, create a local game, create a squad, use mumble.

.50cal does not blow up a boat unless shooting obscene amounts, in fact 7.62 blows a boat (RHIB) up faster than .50cal.

Hi there folks, i have a really annoying problem, when i try to join a server in pr the game music stops after double clicking or clicking deploy to join the server and then my game closes to desktop like i never opened it in the first place :mrgreen: Help would be appreciated.
